Solidsvac 35mtr Vertical Lift

Solidsvac 35mtr vertical lift of FPSO tank bottoms oil sludge was deemed “extraordinary” by the equipment’s operator. Total vacuum distance was around 60-70 metres with 50% of that being vertical. The sludge, scale and grit with an Sg of 1.8 was conveyed using vertically the Vac-Pack from Solidsvac.

The Shell Bonga FPSO required a Solidsvac 35mtr vertical lift via the manhole on deck. The Vac-Pack recovered the sludge directly into the awaiting vacuum rated skips. The Solidsvac Vac-Pack reduces the number of workers inside the tank and needs only minimal deck space. 100% pneumatic and IECEx Zone 0 & 1 Certified ensures a significantly safer work environment.
